Tamim ruled out of the Asia Cup

Tamim Iqbal ruled out
In what comes as a body blow to Bangladesh, opener Tamim Iqbal has been ruled out of the remainder of the Asia Cup after suffering a fractured wrist.
The Southpaw was struck on his left wrist after missing the pull off Suranga Lakmal in the second over of the innings against Sri Lanka.
After suffering fthe blow, Tamim immediately left the field and was rushed to the hospital to undergo an X-ray scan.
Tamim was already sufering from injury on his right index finger leading into the Asia Cup while practising and Mominul Haque was roped in as the injury cover.
Tamim’s outser from the tournament comes as a body blow to Bangladesh who are already suffering from thr fitness of Shakin and Mushfiqur Rahim.
Bangladesh struggling
Currently involved in the tournament opener, Banglafesh got off to a worst possible with Lasith Malinga striking twice in the first over and Tamim hobbling off after being on his left wrist. Mushfiqur Rahim and Mithun then stiched a 133-run stand to revive the Tigers’ before Malinga struck again to inflict another collapse.
Mahmudullah played a disastrous shot to leave Rahim stranded. Rahim, compiled his sixth ODI ton and is currently holding fort for his side as they strive to play out the full quota of 50 overs.
