India and Afghanistan produce a thriller
One of the highlights of the match between India and Afghanistan in the Asia Cup was the Indian kid who was sobbing furiously after the match ended in a tie. The young Indian fan was disappointed with the fact that India didn’t win the game and had to settle for a draw.
Realising the agony of the kid Afghanistan cricketers Rashid Khan and Ahmad Shahzad clicked pictures with him to cheer him up. This sweet gesture by the Afghanistan cricketers was appreciated by the fans on the social media.
And he couldn’t stop his tears….
The Indian team was in firm control of the game as they restricted Afghanistan to 252 runs and then their openers scored 110 runs for the first wicket. But Afghanistan’s spinners pulled back things by picking wickets in the middle overs.

After plenty of twists and turns India needed seven runs from the final over and a handsome boundary by Ravindra Jadeja almost sealed the game for India. However Jadeja lost his wicket with the scores level and India had to settle with a tie. This result was certainly heart-breaking for the fans and the camera soon focused on a Indian kid in the stands who was crying furiously.

However for the Afghanistan team and the fans this moment was nothing less than a win as they had restricted the mighty Indian team from winning the game.
But amidst the celebrations and the euphoria, Rashid Khan and Ahmad Shahzad took out some time and reached out to the kid to console him.
