What lies ahead for Shaw?
Prithvi Shaw has for now confirmed his place in the Test team as an opener and will surely play in Australia. His performance in the Australian tour will decide his future. At the same time, it will be interesting to see how the selectors deal with Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan who are currently dropped from the team.

In the shorter format, the task is tougher for Shaw as the current opening pair of Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma is at their peak. Plus the team has plenty of options in the form of KL Rahul and Ambati Rayadu as the third opener.
