After getting hammered in the first three ODIs the New Zealand team finally discovered their mojo in the fourth ODI. And now with one last game remaining, they would love to finish this rather forgettable series on a high note.
But they need to be wary of the Indian team as even in the absence of Virat Kohli, India has plenty of match-winners. The visitors have the series in their pockets and now they will look to stamp their dominance in the final game.
Watch out for these three players as both teams face each other one last time in this five-match ODI series.
#3. Rohit Sharma-
Rohit Sharma the captain must be distraught with the result in the fourth ODI and he will be itching to reverse the damage. He has looked in good touch in this ODI series but the big score has eluded him so far.
Can he finish the ODI series with a massive score?
#2.Hardik Pandya-
It is simple, the Indian team needs Pandya more than Pandya needs the team. With Hardik in the playing XI, India have a third-seamer which gives them the liberty to play their two best spinners and also a batsman at number seven who can hit the ball hard and clear the ropes from the word go.
Hardik wasted a golden chance in the fourth ODI to showcase his batting prowess but he still has one more chance to prove his worth in the team.
#1. Kuldeep Yadav-
Kuldeep has got plenty of wickets in this series but most of them are tail-enders. Taylor and Latham proved that Kuldeep can be neutralized in the third ODI.
But can Kuldeep counter-punch and pull out another trick that can establish his claim as an all-condition bowler? The fifth ODI is his another chance to experiment with his variations and lengths.
