Team India is running riot in the ongoing ODI series versus New Zealand. The Indian bowlers have reduced New Zealand’s batting to a pulp in all three games and with little pressure, Indian batsmen have thrived on the helping conditions.
With the series already in the pocket, Team India will be looking to fix the tiny issues in the system ahead of the World Cup and these three players will be critical for the team’s success.
#3 Ambati Rayudu
A poor outing in Australia and an average series so far in New Zealand has brought Rayudu under the scanner. He looked good in the last two ODIs but to ensure the number four position belongs to him, he needs a big score.
And with no Virat Kohli in the middle order, Rayudu has a bigger responsibility now. But can he use this chance and make the number four spot his own?
#2 Mohammad Shami
The Indian pacer made the full use of the opportunity created by Jasprit Bumrah’s absence. He showcased his skills and his ability and at the same time has made a strong claim for the playing eleven XI in the World Cup.
Shami has been phenomenal so far in this series and he needs to continue his form as the competition for the third seamer is intense.
#1 Hardik Pandya
The man who is in news constantly in recent times without even stepping into the cricket field, Hardik Pandya now has the chance to create news with his cricket skills.

Team India relies on him heavily for bringing the balance in the team and he too needs to have some wickets and runs under his belt to regain the confidence.
He showed a glimpse of his ability in the third ODI with a spectacular catch and some neat bowling and India would expect him to do the same in the fourth ODI.
