IPL 2019: Blow to Delhi Capitals; Harshal Patel ruled out of remaining season

Delhi Capitals who are already having a difficult outing in the IPL 2019 have received another big blow as pacer Harshal Patel and all-rounder Rahul Tewaita have been ruled out of the remaining season of Indian Premier League.

Harshal Patel who was bought for INR 20 lakhs by Delhi has featured in two games in IPL season 12. He was expensive in both games but also picked two wickets.
He is suffering from an arm injury and hence has been ruled out of the remaining IPL season.
Rahul Tewatia, meanwhile played in four matches and was seen by Delhi as a potential all-rounder who could bring balance in the team by sending down a few overs and batting in the lower-middle order.
He also picked two wickets in four matches and didn’t make a big impact in four innings although he remained not-out in three of them.

Delhi to conduct trials in Kolkata to find replacements
Mustafa Ghouse, Delhi Capitals director said that they will be organising a trial in Kolkata, so that coach Ricky Ponting and advisor Sourav Ganguly can take a look at the available options and opt for the replacements.
He noted that the rules clearly state that they have to pick players from the auction pool. So the trials will feature cricketers who were part of this pool.
