Former India cricketer Vinod Kambli has predicated that Team India will win the upcoming Test series against Australia as he feels that the loss of Steve Smith and David Warner is an advantage for India.
India’s chances are bright in Australia: Kambli
Team India will be touring Australia in the next month for an all-important Test series. Speaking about this series, Kambli stated that India’s chances are bright.
He feels that India is going to win the series in Australia. He pointed out that these two batsmen, Smith and Warner are not there, so India should take full advantage.
Steve Smith and David Warner are two of Australia’s best batsmen and are currently serving a one-year ban due to their involvement in ball tampering issue.

Kambli praises Kohli
At the same time, the former left-hand batsman praised the Indian skipper Virat Kohli. He said that Virat is hungry for runs and the hunger to do well, that is what is very good to see in him.
He pointed at Kohli’s work ethics, plus the way he is on the field and stated that he gives his 110 per cent. Kambli revealed that the main thing what he likes about Kohli’s playing and batting, is the hunger for runs.
Kambli’s advise for the young Indian opener Prithvi Shaw
The former India cricketer also appreciated youngster Prithvi Shaw. He observed that Shaw is a stroke player and he goes after the ball and likes to get runs. In fact he likes to play his shots.

He wants the Indian opener to play his natural game. He revealed that he has told the young Indian batsman not to think too much, just go out there, enjoy your game and just be confident.
Kambli feels that this is very important, when Shaw goes for tours like Australia or plays anywhere else and he hopes that Shaw does the same.
