India vs Windies 2nd T20I: Three players to watch out

After a thumping win against Windies in the first T20I, Team India will enter the field on 06th November to seal the series. The challenge, however, won’t be an easy one for the hosts as they are taking on the defending world T20 champs.
Windies’ batting may have gone horribly wrong in the first game but they can thrash any bowling attack on any given day. Thus India will have their job cut out and these three players might hold the key for the second T20I.
3. Krunal Pandya-
The all-rounder did everything right in his debut game. He came into the bowling attack and neutralized one of the opposition’s big-hitters and then with the bat, sealed a nervous chase with confident and elegant stroke-making.
But even Krunal would admit that the competition is so stiff that he needs a big contribution to safeguard his position in India’s team. With the nerves settled in the debut, we might see a lot more from Krunal at Lucknow.

2. Shikhar Dhawan-
His omission from Test cricket was understandable but Dhawan’s lack of runs in white-ball cricket is surprising. The opener has remained prolific in white-ball cricket but had an erratic 2018. He did well in South Africa, then failed in England, had a good Asia cup but again fared poorly against Windies and now all eyes are on him in the T20I series.
The left-hander desperately needs runs under his belt and the Lucknow game might be the one where he comes good.

This is a mouth-watering contest. The wrist-spinner versus the power-hitters. Such is the capability of Windies batsmen that even if they make an error in timing the ball, they still clear the ropes. And this is Kuldeep’s biggest challenge- to somehow keep Windies batsmen quiet.

He won the duel against the power-hitters in the first T20I. Now it will be interesting to see how the visiting batsmen treat him. Will they see him off or will their trust their muscle strength and go after him?
