During the second day of the fourth Test match between England and India, the infamous, Jarvo 69, once again interrupted the cricketing action. In the 34th over of the England innings, Jarvo suddenly came onto the field and this time he wanted to bowl for the Indian team at the Kennington Oval in London. Incidentally, Jarvo may have crossed the line this time as he straightaway ran into Jonny Bairstow standing at the non-striker’s end. After intervening the field constantly during the second and third Tests, he was even banned for life from the Headingley cricket ground.

I think a few people need to be sacked at grounds in England. This is a very serious security lapse and it just continues. Not even a prank anymore. #Jarvo #Idiot.

IND vs ENG, 4th Test Live
England did not have the best of starts on Day 2 of the Oval Test losing the wickets of Craig Overton and Dawid Malan in quick succession. With their in-form skipper Joe Root back in the pavilion quite early for the first time in this series, the hosts’ batting found themselves under extreme pressure. However, the duo of Ollie Pope and Jonny Bairstow have put up an amazing counter-attacking partnership of 77 runs off 109 balls for the sixth wicket. Both the batters have taken complete advantage of the boundary balls bowled by the Indian pacers in that opening session on Day 2. England ended the first session 139 for 5 with Bairstow unbeaten on 34 runs alongside Ollie Pope 38 not out. For India, Umesh Yadav has been the pick of the bowlers, taking the big wickets of Joe Root, Dawid Malan and Craig Overton.
