INDIA vs ENGLAND: Rain played killjoy again on the third day of the first Test between India and England at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. It was a stop-start beginning to proceedings yesterday, with rain arriving as early as the second over. The unwelcome guest was back post-tea, and a steady drizzle prevented any further play.
Nottingham Weather Update
Showers are predicted again on day 4; however, the forecast is much better than the last two days.
There is less than a 20% chance of rain before 11 am meaning we should hopefully get a timely start. Between 11 am and 7 pm local time, chances of rain are 40%. The temperature is going to be around 17 degrees Celsius.
You could see the wind affecting bowlers’ run-up yesterday. It will be less windy than yesterday. Humidity is going to range between 65-75%. One hopes the rest of the match will be rain-free; otherwise, the game could be headed for a draw.
