Bumrah-Bhuvi added to the squad
India’s premier fast bowling duo of Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have been added to the 15-man squad that was named for the remaining three ODIs of the Windies series.
Both Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar were rested for the Test series as well as the first two ODIs in a bid to give opportunities to the bench strength. But, with the fast bowlers failing to create any impact on placid tracks that have greeted sides for theĀ ODI series.
While India nearly failed to defend 322 at Vizag, the fast bowlers especially- Umesh Yadav (1-78) and Khaleel Ahmed were wayward in their line and lengths at Guwahati as well, making Kohli return to their premier duo of Bhuvi and Bhumrah.
