India bowling coach calls this player long-term prospect

Team India’s bowling coach Bharat Arun has called Indian opener KL Rahul a long-term prospect. Arun said that the opening batsman is an outstanding talent and needs to be persisted with.
Rahul is India’s super batsman for future: ArunĀ
While speaking with the media ahead of the second Test between India and West Indies, Arun stated that Rahul has tremendous potential and he should be persisted with.
He revealed that Ravi Shastri and Sanjay Bangar had a good chat with Rahul about his batting and his technical issues. Arun believes that we have a super batsman in Rahul in the future for us.
Umesh unfortunate to not play in South Africa: Arun
India’s bowling coach also spoke about Umesh Yadav. He admitted that it’s really unfortunate that Umesh didn’t get to play a lot in South Africa and in England. However Arun pointed out that the bowlers who played, performed exceptionally well and that’s why Umesh was overlooked.
He revealed that the team looks at Umesh as somebody who is quick and they are extremely confident about what Umesh can bring to the table. The former India cricketer explained that the team management has a system where they rotate the bowlers so that they remain fresh and Umesh is a part of that policy.

Arun praises Prithvi Shaw
At the same time, Team India’s bowling coach praised the young opener Prithvi Shaw. He said that every Test match that India plays, the team management has been able to throw up new players like Prithvi Shaw in the last Test match. He noted that more than the runs he scored, he was able to show composure for a guy playing his first Test match, these are things that the management looks at.
