IND vs ENG Live: India is all set to lock horns with England in the second Test match of the five-match series at the iconic Lord’s cricket ground in London. The first Test match of the series ended in a draw after the final day was completely washed out.

The recent update from the 2nd Test match is that England skipper Joe Root has won the toss and he has opted to bowl first. India has made only one change to their playing 11 with senior pacer Ishant Sharma coming in for the injured Shardul Thakur. India’s seam-bowling all-rounder suffered a hamstring injury during the first Test match.

“Same, we would’ve bowled first as well. But not too bad batting first as well, good opportunity to put a score. Ishant replaces Shardul, that’s the only change. We announced 12 within the group and Ashwin definitely was part of that. But this makes the most sense for us as a team. Everyone wants to contribute, it’s about getting into the game as a batsman. We just need to get the job done, whoever it is, that’s our main focus. Especially with crowds back in, it’s a pleasure to be here. An honour to play in front of crowds for what should be a cracker,” said India captain Virat Kohli at the toss.

On the other hand, England have made three changes to their playing XI from the previous game. The trio of Mark Wood, Moeen Ali and Haseeb Hameed have come in for the likes of Stuart Broad, Dan Lawrence and Zak Crawley.
