Craig Overton sledges Cheteshwar Pujara, Twitterati reacts
After the wicket of KL Rahul in the first session, the onus was on Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara to take the Virat Kohli-led side into the comfortable position. The duo left no stone unturned and was impeccable with the bat, putting on a great show to frustrate the English bowlers throughout the day.

Both kept ticking the scoreboard at regular intervals but were also spot on with their defensive technique. Indian opener and No.3 batter took the Virat Kohli-led side to a dominating position and stitched 153 runs for the second wicket. While Rohit Sharma scored his first overseas Test century, Cheteshwar Pujara notched up a masterful half-century and made sure that the visitors remain on the top throughout the day.
During the 49th over of India’s second innings, an incident took place that made fans on Twitter go berserk. Cheteshwar Pujara smashed Craig Overton for two consecutive boundaries. After being hit for two fours, the pacer was unhappy and frustration got better of him as Pujara defended the next ball, which slowly came to him and he picked the ball in his follow through and acted like as if he was going to throw the ball at the batter.
