The five-Test series between England and India has grabbed the attention of almost every cricket fan. The series so far has been at its exciting best as both the teams have match blow for blow but the Virat Kohli-led side are slightly ahead of the hosts as they are leading the series by a margin of 2-1. However, with the COVID-19 scare in the Indian camp, the commencement of the fifth and final Test of the series is in doubt and no one would want such type of end to what has been an enthralling series between the teams.
Indian players return negative COVID-19 TestsĀ
The fifth and the final Test match of the series between England and India, which is set to take place at Emirates Old Trafford gave a mini-heart attack to all the fans as Team Indiaās physio Yogesh Parmar returned COVID-19 positive Test, after which the teamās training session was called off and there were even the calls regarding the match being cancelled as well.

The commencement of the fifth and final Test of the series even led to the argument between the cricketing boards of respective nations as ECB wanted Team India to forfeit the match but BCCI went against the decision and stated that they will not forfeit the match.
However, in what will be a massive boost, as per the media reports, it is learned that all the Indian players have returned negative RT-PCR COVID-19 results. Although thereās no official confirmation it is expected that the fifth Test match of the series will go as per the schedule.

ENG vs IND: Possible playing XI of Team India for the Manchester Test
If the fifth Test match of the series will go as per the schedule, Team India are unlikely to make major changes in the playing XI from the last Test. However, with Mohammad Shami being fit, he will likely walk straight into the playing XI and will most likely replace Mohammed Siraj, who looked out of rhythm in the fourth Test.
