England’s top order has been inconsistent and they rely on middle order to rescue them. The top order will have a tough task in hand against quality fast bowling attack. Joe Root was excellent in the recent Test series in India and holds a good record against them. In the bowling department, Anderson and Broad will pose a tough challenge to India’s batsmen throughout the series. Both the experienced bowlers are the strengths of this line-up.
