Don’t move from your seats
In the 1983 World Cup quarterfinal against Zimbabwe, India was down at 17/5 when the Kapil Dev stood up and began to play with confidence. Man Singh, Team India’s manager, asked the players not to leave their seats at that point. Not even for a bathroom break. The Indian captain finished with a score of 175 not out, an innings of a lifetime. This is the most common superstition. Who can forget Sachin Tendulkar not allowing Virender Sehwag to go for a loo break in the 2011 World Cup finals?
