Even after England’s 2-1 win in the opening game, Phil Neville didn’t shy away from taking some tough calls for the Argentina game.
One of the surprising change came in goal with Karen Bardsley losing her place to Carly Telford. After her composed game, expect the latter to start the match.
England were shaky at the back in Game-1, and no wonder the backline was tweaked as Abbie McManus came in to replace Millie Bright.
While centre-back Steph Houghton managed to hold onto her place despite some wayward passing against Scotland. But she was more of herself in Game-2. Considering England have clinched the last-16 berth, Houghton may be rested here.
The real decision will be who starts up front. Ellen White and Jodie Taylor started the 1st and 2nd game respectively with both of them finding the back of the net. Taylor was an unused substitute in game-1, while White remained on the bench in Game-2.
