SL vs NZ Dream11 Prediction | New Zealand vs Sri Lanka Match Preview | Fantasy Team & Team News
New Zealand and Sri Lanka kick start their World Cup campaign facing each other in the third ODI of the World Cup.
Being the runner-ups of the previous World Cup in 2015, they will look to take their maiden crown. New Zealand was on a 7 win streak before losing to Windies in their second warm-up on 28th. They currently have one of the best batting lineups, with the likes of hard-hitting players like Ross Taylor, Kane Williamson, and Tom Latham.
Sri Lanka had made a lot of changes to their squad before coming for the World Cup, including handing over the captaincy to Dimuth Karunaratne. Even after the inclusion of young blood in the team, Sri Lanka still has experienced players on their side, including Angelo Matthews, Kusal Perera, and Lasith Malinga. The weakest point for the Sri Lankans is their fielding side. They are too dependent on their batting department which costs them when it’s their turn to field.

Trent Boult | Ish Sodhi | Kane Williamson | Ross Taylor

- In the previous clash between Sri Lanka and New Zealand, Ish Sodhi had a very outstanding record, picking up 8 wickets in 3 innings against them with an economy of 5.16.

- Angelo Mathews recently returned to the squad after regaining his form. He has already demonstrated the same against South Africa, scoring 64 off 66 balls. He scored a total of 315 from 8 matches in 2018.
