After securing 12 runs win over Velocity on Thursday, Supernovas will be looking for another win and clinch the title when both the teams will square off on Saturday for the final in Jaipur.

Supernovas’ 12 runs win over Velocity, automatically knocked out Trailblazers out of the tournament as both the teams finished on top two positions owing to better run rates.

Jemimah Rodriguez was in limelight for her quick 77 of 48 and was later chosen as player of the match for her match-winning knock that helped her side secure a spot in the final. Danielle Wyatt and M Raj tried hard while chasing the total but fell short at the end.

Velocity now has a perfect opportunity to avenge their previous loss and clinch the title when both the teams square off in the final. The match will start at 07:30 PM IST.

Both the sides met on Thursday evening at Sawai Man Singh in Jaipur where Supernovas turned out to be victorious by 12 runs. Riding on J Rodriguez’s unbeaten 77, Supernovas posted 142-3 on the board.

Coming to chase, Velocity fell short by 12 runs despite Danielle Wyatt’s 43 of 33 and M Raj’s unbeaten 40 of 42 balls. V Krishnamurthy (30 of 29) was another contributor with the bat for Velocity.
