The WWE is planning to introduce a new tag-team Cruiserweight championship belt soon after Wrestlemania 34, as per the reports from PWInsider.com. 

The heart of the matter

After the demise of WCW in 2001, it will be the first time that the tag-team version of Cruiserweight championship will be unleashed nationally in the United States.While Wrestlemania 34 will feature the culmination of the cruiserweight tournament, the addition of the tag-team title would certainly add intrigue and excitement to the 205 Live Brand.

Our Take:

While there has been no word yet on the official date, but several championship designs are being worked out and if it indeed turns out to be a reality, it will add excitement and intrigue to a beleaguered blue brank gasping for a turn-around.
