GSW vs HOU Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Golden State Warriors eked out a 104-99 win over Houston Rockets in Game-5 and took a 3-2 lead in the Western Conference semifinals. But it was a victory which felt like a defeat for all the concerned parties inside the Oracle Arena, as it came at too great a cost. Perhaps a moment changing the course of the NBA title as everybody now thinks that warriors are brittle enough to surrender their title.
Kevin Durant is out indefinitely. Without a shadow of any doubt, he is Warriors’ best player and has been in the playoffs for the last two postseasons and this season as well.
To make it even worse for Steve Kerr, Stephen Curry is struggling immensely in this series. He has been playing with his head down, missing shots from the perimeter and inside the paints, his dunks going haywire, which he would have buried in his sleep sometime earlier, all signs of a player struggling for form.
Big threes, hard drives & all-out hustle from the splash bros helped the Dubs secure the win last night. pic.twitter.com/kHwZzLDBtz

But there is a reason for optimism for all the Warriors fans. Because as they say there is always a speck of light hidden somewhere in the darkest corner, only to be found by the hopefuls. The Dubs still have Curry. He is no average player. He may not be playing as he can, but in the fourth quarter, we witnessed flashes of the old Curry.
Still, Warriors are not the same without Kevin Durant. And that’s why it’s a golden opportunity for Houston Rockets to win this series. Then everything is possible for the psychological barrier has always been the Dubs.
Regular Season Record-
Houston Rockets: W-53, L-29
Golden State Warriors: W-57, L-25
Players to watch out for: (Captain options)
Houston Rockets:
James Harden – The reigning MVP is playing like the best player in the world this season and at this moment, looks a frontrunner to grab his second MVP title in as many years.
With Durant out, he should be your captain.
Numbers that matter:
- Points Per Game:
Regular Season – 36.1 (Best amongst all players this season)
Playoffs (2019) – 31.3 (2nd best in the playoffs, behind only Kevin Durant)

Against Golden State Warriors – 9.3 - Rebounds Per Game:

Playoffs (2019) – 6.7 (37th best)
Points earned in the last five games: 60.8, 60, 60.8, 40.4, 53.8
Other players to select from Golden State Warriors:
Eric Gordon – The playoffs got into him. He is racking up better numbers in the postseason and is one of the most in-form players in Rockets team. A good option to have on the team.
While the likes of Austin Rivers and PJ Tucker should be in your team as well.————————————————————————————————
Golden State Warriors:
Stephen Curry – Yes, he is not hitting the heights he can reach, but in the fourth quarter, in the absence of Kevin Durant and when his team needed the Old Curry, he didn’t disappoint. The two-time MVP scored 12 of his 25 match points in that quarter, helping the team to cross the line.
If he is back to his brutal best, he can outshine anybody. He could be your captain as well.
But we would suggest selecting either Harden or Curry will be a better choice. The points then can be spent on other players.

Klay Thompson – In the first quarter, he was phenomenal, as he buried three-pointers, floaters, jumpers, and dunks. He is another high-profile player who has been struggling of late. But don’t rule him out, for he is too good a talent.
Also select, Kevon Looney (expected to replace injured Kevin Durant), Andre Iguodala
While for Center, both Clint Capela and Draymond Green are good options. But the latter is in a better form.
