Vijay Shankar then ransacked 25 off 11 balls and Mohammad Nabi scored 20 off 13 balls to accelerate in the death overs but Kemo Paul picked two wickets in the 20th over to prevent SRH from a flourishing end.

Delhi looked in trouble at that moment but Rishabh Pant stepped up and played a match-defining inning of 49 off 21 balls. He clobbered Nabi for a six in the 16th over and then cantered for Basil Thampi for two sixes and two fours in the 18th over.

A six off Bhuvi in the 19th over brought DC inches away from a win but Punt threw his wicket on the 5th ball of the over and then Amit Mishra was run-out controversially as DC needed two fo two balls. Kemo Paul then kept his calm drilled a four through mid-wicket to take Delhi home.
