A few weeks ago, when Arsenal beat Napoli 1-0 at Stadio San Paolo to book a spot in the semifinal of Europa League, Unai Emery’s team looked to be in the driving seat on two fronts.
For the Gunners were sitting comfortably inside the top four, just one point behind their hatred rivals Tottenham Hotspur in 3rd. While the progress in Europa gave the hole squad a perfect opportunity to end the season with a big trophy.
Considering Arsenal are thought to be going through a transition and this is Emery’s first season at the Emirates Stadium, it’s fair to say that the North London club were progressing way earlier than expected.
However, everything is now falling to pieces, at least in the Premier League. For Arsenal have now lost the last three league games, taking their top-four hopes out of their hands. Tottenham are four points clear, while Chelsea moved two points ahead of them as well.
As a result, the season is now on the cusp of utter failure, unless Emery mastermind another title triumph in Europe.
Also, some of the decisions made by Emery has left both the fans and the players baffled.
Valencia meanwhile are hitting their top four at the tight time. Like their opponent, they are also fighting on two fronts.
The Los Che are targetting the top-four, three points behind 4th placed Getafe. And there is a small matter of winning the Europa League.

The Juventus-bound midfielder joins Rob Holding, Hector Bellerin and Danny Welbeck on the sideline.
Injured –
Suspended – None.
Questionable – Two players are a further doubt as both Nacho Monreal and Mesut Ozil missed the Premier League game against Leicester City due to the knocks. The duo will be assessed before the match.
Note: Unai Emery is expected to go with an attacking formation in the first leg, and could name both Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the starting line-up.
Ozil should manage to shake off the knock and we expect him to start the match.
Key Players – Granit Xhaka, Alexandre Lacazette
Valencia:
Injured – In terms of Valencia, Geoffrey Kondogbia and Denis Cheryshev are ruled out from the match.
In addition, Jaume Domenech failed to shake off a knock and will be watching the match from the comfort of his home.
Suspended – A possible reunion was killed off when defensive midfielder picked up a yellow card in the 2nd leg game against Villarreal. The former Gunner will be serving a one-game suspension.
Questionable – None. However, Cristiano Piccini was a huge doubt for the trip to London. the fact he is in the squad means the 26-year-old right-back should be fine for the game.
Note: Carlos Soler and Dani Parejo are expected to form a partnership in the heart of the midfield.
Key Players – Rodrigo Moreno, Santi Mina

ARS vs VAL Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:
INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
Arsenal have a poor record against Valencia. There have been five previous meetings between these two sides, with Arsenal winning just once. Valencia meanwhile won twice and drew the other two. So the visitors may come to the Emirates with a psychological belief.
That said, Arsenal, under Unai Emery, are a real force in home games, having remained unbeaten at home in Europe this season.
While the Los Che are unbeaten on the road in Europa League so far this season.
We back Arsenal to win but by a small margin.
