GSW vs HOU Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
The Dubs finally ended the first round behind the career-best performance of Kevin Durant. The two-time NBA finals MVP exploded for his personal best performance of 50 points and helped Golden State Warriors beat Los Angeles Clippers 129-110 in Game-6.
Durant showed why he is one of the best of the current generation and why Warriors won’t be the same if he indeed decides to leave the Oracle Arena this summer. For when Stephen Curry seems to be struggling, he dug Warriors out many a time in this series alone.
While his performance in the last game was historical as well. As 38 of his 50 points came in the first quarter alone, which tied him with the former Phoenix Suns star Charles Barkley for the most points in a half in any playoff game.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was at a loss to explain Durant’s special display.
“That was one of the greatest performances I’ve ever seen in my life,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. “He’s the ultimate weapon because there’s no defence for Kevin.”
Kevin Durant’s 38 pts in the half of a playoff game are 3 more than steve nash’s 35 in 2005 vs Dallas. It’s not nearly as impressive though because there are more possessions in today’s game. And because Kevin Durant is taller and better at basketball.

Stephen Curry scored 24 points and Draymond Green had his fifth career playoff triple-double with 16 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists. Klay Thompson could manage only nine points.
Regular Season Record-
Golden State Warriors: W-57, L-25
Houston Rockets: W-53, L-29
Players to watch out for:
Golden State Warriors:
Kevin Durant – The last two games showed why he is the reigning NBA finals MVP. Curry struggled in those games, but Kevin Durant stood up for the challenge, scoring a combined 71 points and won the games for Warriors. He has made five blocks in the post-season while making 7 steals as well.
Stephen Curry – One of the best shooters the game has ever seen. A vital cog in Warriors’ wheel. Stephen Curry is an indispensable part of the Warriors’ roster. This is best highlighted by the fact that Curry leads the league in total plus-minus. To simplify it, the Warriors outscored their opponents by a huge 689 points when he was on the court. That’s some presence on the court.
On the scoring side, the two-time MVP is dropping a team-high 27.8 points per game this season.
Houston Rockets:
James Harden – Game-3 showed that he is a human, ordinary human who can make mistakes. While the fourth game, and especially the fourth quarter in that match proved that again for he missed too many shots and allowed Utah Jazz to make a comeback.
But James Harden is the only player to average in the 30s this season, averaging 36.5 points per game. He is too good a player to have too many off nights. And you wonder that despite struggling for some moments in the last match, the reigning MVP still managed to rack up 30 points.
Chris Paul – Big game players raise their games when the situations demands and Chris Paul is certainly living up to the demands of the playoffs. The former Los Angeles Clippers guard is racking up 18.0 points per game in the post-season.
