Mumbai Indians vs Kings XI Punjab Playerzpot Prediction IPL Preview, Team News, Playing 11

Mumbai Indians will host the Kings XI Punjab for the upcoming match in the Indian Premier League. Mumbai Indians handed over the Chennai Super Kings their first defeat and bundled out Sunrisers Hyderabad for 96 to register two back to back wins. Kings XI Punjab will also land in Mumbai riding high on the momentum wave after defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last match. Punjab outfit have won four of their six matches in IPL 2019 so far and are firmly seated on the third spot in the IPL Points Table ( along with Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings with 8 points so far).

The last time both the teams met, Mumbai Indians had to suffer a defeat against KXIP but playing in home conditions might yield a different result for the Mumbai Indians.

The hosts have a formidable pace attack with Jasprit Bumrah and left-arm Jason Behrendorff. They also have Joseph Alzarri and Hardik Pandya who could utilise the bounce and carry on the Wankhede track.

Kings XI, on the other hand, have been top heavy in batting with KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal leading the way with 200-plus aggregates.

It is a dream: Alzarri Joseph

“I could not have asked for a better start. I just backed myself and it worked. My plan was to keep everything simple and execute my plans,” Joseph said.

Enjoying my batting: KL Rahul

“I couldn’t start off the way I wanted to in the first couple of games. Just enjoying my batting and happy to end up on the winning side.”
