LAC vs MEM Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
It’s a battle between the two Western Conference teams as the in-form Los Angeles Clippers host an inconsistent Memphis Grizzlies in a regular season NBA match at Staples Center, in Downtown Los Angeles, on Monday morning (IST).
It’s been a good season for the Los Angeles Clippers. For they are back in the post-season after missing out last season. In the Western Conference table, they currently sit at 6th with a record of 46-31.
Even after Tobias Harris left the franchise for Philadelphia 76ers, the Clippers continues to impress with their consistent performances. A handful of players have stepped up since then, with the likes of Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell leading the charge.
If the Clippers manage to hold onto their 6th place in the West, they will be meeting Houston Rockets in the first round of playoffs. No doubt, Rockets boast a better record than them, but Doc Rivers’ men have the reason to believe that they can get the better of James Harden and CO.
The reason being, Clippers’ head to head record against Rockets this season which stands at 2-0 in favor of Doc Rivers’ team.
While Memphis Grizzlies won’t be in the playoffs after another underwhelming season. However, they have certainly improved from last season, improving their season record from 22-60 to 31-45 this season.
Regular Season Record-
Los Angeles Clippers: W-46, L-31
Memphis Grizzlies: W-31, L-45
Players to watch out for:
Los Angeles Clippers:
Lou Williams – Played for 23 minutes against Cavaliers, and scored a crucial 18 points. Ever since Tobias Harris left the team, Lou Williams has upped his game by few notches. The 32-year-old is averaging a career-high 20.9 points per game, and scoring at 23.3 in the last 10 matches.
Danilo Gallinari – He is a doubt for this match but expects Clippers to be a different beast if he plays. For he has been consistently dropping big numbers, averaging a career-high this season. The 30-year-old has scored at 23.5 points per game in the last 10 matches.
ᴛʜᴇ ɴᴀᴛᴜʀᴀʟ@gallinari8888’s NBA journey hasn’t always been easy, but in his 11th season, he’s playing the best basketball of his life.
