Indian Premier League, 2019 | Kings XI Punjab vs Rajasthan Royals PREVIEW
KXIP vs RR Dream11 Match Prediction | Who Will Win Today Match
Jaipur, March 25, Monday at 08:00 PM IST
Rajasthan Royals will start their IPL 2019 campaign on Monday when they welcome Kings XI Punjab at their fortress Sawai Man Singh Stadium for the fourth fixture. Both the sides are studded with enough firepower and would be looking to start the campaign on a high. The clash will begin at 08:00 PM IST.
Led by Ajinkya Rahane, Rajasthan Royals have been boosted by the return of Steve Smith. Smith missed the last edition along with David Warner following the Sand-Gate scandal and is all set for his return. Along with Smith, Rajasthan Royals have Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, and Jofra Archer in their ranks and it will be difficult for Kings XI Punjab to outplay Rajasthan at their home conditions.
Led by R Ashwin, Kings XI Punjab started extremely well in the last edition -securing 5 wins in 6 games- but failed to qualify for the playoffs. They would be hoping for a better run this season and will depend heavily on their opening pair – C Gayle and KL Rahul. They have also signed English all-rounder Sam Curran and Windies keeper batterNicholas Pooran as their new signings. They will be missing out the services of Andrew Tye in starting games and will rely upon M Shami, R Ashwin and M Ur Rahman in bowling section.

Pitch report:
The Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur has a neutral surface that assists both batting and bowling. Traditionally, it used to provide help to seamers but in the last few games, the wicket has turned to be a neutral surface. Expect the toss winning side to bowl first as the chasing side has a more winning percentage at the venue.
