IND vs POR Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Two teams well and truly in the playoff race will battle it out for a win when Portland Trail Blazers host Indiana Pacers in a regular season NBA match at Moda Center, in Portland, Oregon, United States, on Tuesday morning (IST).

At half-time, Portland Trail Blazers had a two-point lead over San Antonio Spurs which they extended to four at the end of the third quarter. But C. J. McCollum suffered an awkward landing on his left leg and was in a serious amount of pain. Blazers later revealed that he wouldn’t be returning to the game. Spurs had a pop then and the game changed on its head.

Blazers weren’t the same in his absence, suffering too many turnovers, and ineffective to some degrees in the offence. Spurs rallied up in the penultimate quarter, winning it 36-27 to close out a 108-103 win at AT&T Center.

Damian Lillard had a good game scoring a game-high 34 points, while Jusuf Nurkic had the game’s second-best efforts as he dropped 24 points in the match. But Spurs pulled ahead through the 2nd unit’s efforts as Rudy Gay led the charge with 43 points coming from the bench.

Portland remained fourth in the Western Conference with a record of 42-27.

Indiana Pacers, meanwhile, were involved in a very close match for the second consecutive game. But this time the result went South as they lost 102-100 against Denver Nuggets.

And it was just not the result which reverberated the familiar sounds. For the 2nd match in a row, Bojan Bogdanovic had the chance to win the match, but he missed the game-changing attempt yet again. But this there was no Wesley Matthews to pounce on the rebound.

Portland Trail Blazers:
Damian Lillard – Arguably Portland’s best player this season. He has been incredible, pouring in points at a phenomenal rate. An MVP candidate for sure for his consistency and countless match-winning displays. The 28-year-old poured in a season-high 51 points against Oklahoma City Thunder a week ago, while he dropped 34 points in the last match. You can just expect big numbers from him.

CJ McCollum – A big doubt for the match, but there is still time in this match and he could feature here. The 27-year-old shooting-guard is racking up the 2nd most points per game for Portland this season, 21.2 per game. But he has dropped points at 23.6 in the last 10 matches.

Indiana Pacers:
Bojan Bogdanovic – By far his best season, and even better is his current form as he has scored at 23.4 points per game in the last 10 matches. Pacers have managed to stay afloat in the absence of Victor Oladipo and that’s because they Bojan has led the team like a true leader. With around 1 steal per game, the former Miami Heat player is contributing in the other department as well.

Domantas Sabonis – Another in-form player in Indiana these days is Domantas Sabonis. He has been in good touch of late, averaging 16.8 points per game in the last 10 matches. And was phenomenal to say the least, just a few days ago against Oklahoma City Thunder where he scored a game-changing 26 points.

Indiana Pacers are punching above their weight, more so in the absence of Victor Oladipo. But as a team, they deserve to be in the top-8.
But an away trip against Portland Trail Blazers, is a tough ask from them considering they have split up their record on the road while Blazers have won a remarkable 25 games out of 34 at Moda Center this season.
