GSW vs SAS Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

The longest winning streak will be on the line when an in-form San Antonio Spurs host the mighty Golden State Warriors in a regular season NBA match at AT&T Center, in San Antonio, Texas, United States, on Tuesday morning (IST).

If there is one team that has seen some transformation in the last month or so, it has to be San Antonio Spurs. The team has come a long way in that period, colloquially, from the fringes of the playoffs to a force which is threatening to break into the top-4 in the Western Conference.

This is what Los Angeles Lakers may have been missing this season, a head coach with an absolute presence on the sidelines.

Gregg Popovich has seen it all, done it in his career. He is a living legend, a professor for the young prodigies, and a sort of dictator who commands nothing but the very best from his players on the court.

After three consecutive losses in the middle of February, Spurs were 33-29 in the West. This has been their story of the season; too much inconsistency. Though it would be an exaggeration to say that the 2014 Champions were in immediate danger of falling out of the top-8, the danger was still there nonetheless and the whole team was under pressure to put the season back on track.

And San Antonio Spurs did and did so in a hard way.

The 8-game winning streak started with a 105-93 win over Detroit Pistons, and since then they have beaten Thunder, Nuggets, Bucks and including Trail Blazers in the last match.

With those 8 straight wins, Spurs improved their season record to 41-29 and are 7 games better than 9th placed Sacramento Kings.

Golden State Warriors are still sitting at the top of Western Conference. They are on a two-game winning streak, improvng their season record to 47-21.

Regular Season Record-
San Antonio Spurs:
W-41, L-29
Golden State Warriors:
W-47, L-21

Players to watch out for:

San Antonio Spurs:
DeMar DeRozan –
Scored a team-high 21 points in the last match as Spurs marched onto another victory. The former Toronto Raptors superstar has been a hit and miss of sorts, and still, the 29-year-old is Spurs’ best player. The 6’7″ shooting guard is racking up 21.6 points per game this season.

@Twitter

LaMarcus Aldridge – The 33-year old-guard is still going strong, making a good contribution in all departments. He is scoring at 21.2 points per game.

Golden State Warriors:
Stephen Curry –
In terms of numbers, he is Warriors’ best player this season. The two-time NBA MVP is averaging a team-high 27.9 points per game. His contribution goes beyond just points though, as his presence on the court is more than enough to put off most teams.

Klay Thompson – Not a second fiddle anymore. He is as important a player on Warriors’ roster as are Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry. The 27-year-old is good with the ball, both inside the paint and beyond the arc. He recently buried his 200th 3-pointer of the season and became just the 2nd player in the history to rack up that many baskets in a single. And guess what, who is the 2nd? Stephen Curry.

GSW vs SAS Dream11 Fantasy Team:

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
San Antonio Spurs are flying, to say the least, winning games both home and away. However, their home form has been on the up all season as they have lost just seven games at AT&T Center, winning an impressive 28 times. So Warriors won’t have an easy outing in Texas, and a win for the hosts is our call.
