It felt in the game against Sacramento Kings as well. But the scoreline, it may deceive you. It won’t reveal how Sacramento kings gaped open too many chinks in their armour. Easy turnovers, lose passing, and too much gap inside the paint, Kings were just strolling in the first quarter, winning it 38-25.

That was a bad quarter, and there were too many negatives for Celtics in that period. But Greens checked the demise within the game and then they showed their real capability.

Celtics were trailing by 17 points when Kyrie Irving led the fightback for the team. Greens won the 3rd quarter 31-24, and behind a 14-0 run in the 3rd quarter, the Eastern Conference giants surged ahead in the match.

Irving was the unequivocal superstar of the match, dropping a triple-double; 31 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds.

This was Celtics’ 2nd win over Sacramento in 8 days, and fourth in the last five matches.

Atlanta Hawks: Playing for the pride!
Out of the playoff picture, there is not much riding on the season for Atlanta Hawks. But they can still save themselves from the ignominy of propping up the table. With a 24-45 record, they are 12th in the Eastern Conference.

The visitors have a little bit of form behind them and are coming into this match on the back of two consecutive wins. That last positive result was achieved against another struggle as they beat New Orleans Pelicans 132-111 at Philips Arena.

John Collins led the charge for the victors, one of the six players for Hawks to score in the double digits on the day. He scored a team-high 27 points and also added a game-high 12 rebounds to his efforts.

Trey Young scored 22 points while Alex Lens dropped 20 points from the bench.

John Collins – If this team is to go forward and becomes a force in the future, they have to keep the likes of John Collins for the foreseeable future. He has been their best player this season, averaging a team-high 19.9 points per game. He has to improve though, especially in the defensive department.
