Malaysia suffers the fourth loss on a trot 

After starting their campaign with 63 runs win over Kuwait Women, Malaysia Women faced fourth consecutive defeat by 87 runs in the last encounter against Thailand. While chasing 115 runs target set by Thailand, Malaysia Women got bundled out at just 27 runs and fell short by 87 runs. They too would be looking to finish on a high against Hong Kong.

Hosts Thailand remain unbeaten so far

The hosts Thailand have maintained their momentum throughout the tournament and are unbeaten so far. In the five games played so far, they have clinched five victories and top the round-robin tournament with 10 points. The final fixture of the tournament will witness both the sides locking horns at Asian Institute of Technology Ground, Bangkok on Wednesday. The hosts Thailand will be favourites to secure a place for the next qualifying round.
