Pakistan Super League 2019 | KAR vs MUL Dream11 2nd Match Prediction
Karachi Kings vs Multan Sultans Match Preview | Who Will Win Today Match
Dubai, February 15, Friday at 05:00 PM IST
One of the most consistent side in the PSL history- Karachi Kings will be squaring off against Multan Sultans at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai tomorrow evening to kick start their PSL 2019 campaign.
Karachi Kings – A playoff seat for sure!
Karachi Kings is the only side to have managed a place in the place offs in all three editions and would be hoping to go further this time and clinch the title. Kings have not made it to any finals so far and this time under Imad Wasim’s leadership, it will be their prime concern. Imad Wasim lead the side in eight games last year and this year he will be leading from the front. Kings will be banking on the batting prowess of Babar Azam, Colin Munro, Colin Ingram and Ravi Bopara. Babar Azam’s form will be one of the prime factors in King’s journey to the finals.
Sikandar Raza, Liam Livingstone, Ravi Bopara and skipper Imad Wasim will be responsible for balancing out the side with their key contribution from both bat and ball while Mohammad Amir will pair up with Aamer Yamin, Sohail Khan and Usman Khan Shinwari to form the pace attack.
While Karachi Kings are once again favourites to reach the playoffs, let’s wait and watch if they can make it to the final and win the trophy or not.
Multan Sultans Hope for a better campaign
Led by Shoaib Malik, Multan Sultans would be hoping for a better run this season as the side finished fifth in the last edition. After starting well, Sultans faced four consecutive defeats in their last four encounters and managed just four wins in ten outings in the last edition. Their preparations for the tournament this year have not gone well to the plan and they have lost a couple of first choice players- Steve Smith gets ruled out, Windies wicketkeeper batter- Nicholas Pooran had to withdraw, Qais Ahmed has withdrawn, Joe Denly is unavailable. However, the side still has ample of big names in the likes of Andre Russell, Colin Munro, Ben Dunk, James Vince, Dan Christian and Shahid Afridi who can change the course of the game alone at any time.
It will be interesting to watch both sides start their campaign against each other. We expect, Kings, to cross the line in the clash.
