Ben Duckett, Sam Hain, and Will Jacks scored the fifties and were in the runs against the hosts.  Coming to bat, India A called off the first innings at 540-6 with the help of Priyank Panchal’s double century and Srikar Bharat’s crucial 142 runs knock. The match was called off when England Lions were at 214-5, ahead by 14 runs on the final day. The teams decided a result was not possible and the match ended in a draw.

KL Rahul to lead India A

In the second ODI, India A will play under the leadership of opener KL Rahul. Rahul gave a good start to the side in the first test and slammed 89 runs off 192 deliveries. Karun Nair has been roped into the side while paceman Avesh Khan is missing out from the squad for tomorrow’s clash.

The second unofficial Test will be played from tomorrow morning at the Srikantadatta Narasimha Raja Wadiyar Ground, Mysore.
