BKN vs MIL Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Brooklyn Nets will have their task cut out as they aim to snap a two-game losing streak against Eastern Conference leaders Milwaukee Bucks at Barclays Center, in New York City borough of Brooklyn, United States, on Tuesday morning (IST).
Brooklyn Nets:
The performance was only indicating towards one outcome for Brooklyn Nets and it was something which Brooklyn didn’t taste in a month or so. But it was bitter and they had to swallow it because Orlando Magic are no donor and neither it was Christmas period.
The Nets lost two games in a row for the first time in a month as they fell 89-102 to Magic at Amway Center. They were poor throughout the game, almost in all the departments. They shot poorly, made some bad decisions when positioning themselves and defended like amateurs sometimes.
Though a big response was expected from Kenny Atkinson and his men after how things unravelled against San Antonio Spurs. But it was not to be.
There were glimpses, however, a 13-4 run at the end of the second quarter gave Brooklyn a 48-44 advantage going into the break.
But the progress was nipped in its bud as Orlando upped the ante in the second half, winning the 3rd quarter 34-22 to surge ahead in the match. Nikola Vucevic came into his own later in the game as he scored 12 of his 24 points in the penultimate quarter.
Milwaukee Bucks:
Giannis Antetokounmpo almost had a perfect game against Washington Wizards. Not only his team won the game 131-115 at Capital One Arena, but on a personal note, he didn’t set a foot wrong in the match.
The Greek-Freak scored the game-high 37 points and 10 rebounds in the match, making another case for why he is a serious candidate for the NBA MVP this season. But the 24-year-old also converted all 17 free throws in the match, which was also a season-high record for him.
This was Bucks’ 3rd consecutive win and they remain the best team across both the conferences with a winning percentage of 0.745 so far in the regular season.
Regular Season Record-
Brooklyn Nets: W-28, L-26
Milwaukee Bucks: W-38, L-13
Players to watch out for:
Brooklyn Nets:
D’Angelo Russell – The 22-year-old is Brooklyn Nets’ best player this season. His regular-season average is 19.7 points per game but his numbers have sky-rocketed in the last 10 games or so. The former Los Angeles Lakers point-guard has scored at 25.5 points per game in the last 10 matches or so.
Joe Harris – With both Caris LeVert and Spencer Dinwiddie missing out to injuries in the last few games, Joe Harris’ importance to the team proliferates even further. After all, the 27-year-old forward is Nets’ fourth-highest scorer this season.
Milwaukee Bucks:
Giannis Antetokounmpo – An All-Star and a legend in his country already, few players are out there in the league who can match his overall quality on a Basketball court. Nicknamed the “Greek-Freak” for his intensity and jaw-dropping performances, the 24-year-old guard is leading all three scoring charts for Milwaukee Bucks this season. He is dropping points at 26.6 per game and is adding 12.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game as well. Looking for a star, he is a superstar.
Khris Middleton – There is a freak and then there are other players who just go about their business, Khris Middleton is one of those players. The 27-year-old is dropping points at 17.4 per game at an efficiency rate of 16.06.
BKN vs MIL Dream11 TEAM NEWS:
Brooklyn Nets:
Injured – The big injury list can savage any team’s campaign and bring it to almost a halt. Brooklyn Nets are no different. They are carrying a huge injury list at the moment and will be without as many as four first-team players in this match.
The list is topped by Caris LeVert (Foot Injury) and Spencer Dinwiddie (Finger Injury) both of whom are one of the top performers for Nets.
While Jared Dudley (Muscle Injury) and Allen Crabbe (Knee Injury) both will be missing the home clas as well through their respective injuries.
Questionable – None.
Suspended – None.
Milwaukee Bucks:
Injured – For Bucks, Donte DiVincenzo is the only confirmed absentee with a heel injury.
Questionable – However, Eric Bledsoe missed the last game with an ankle injury and he remains questionable ahead of this match. The 29-year-old point-guard is Bucks’ 3rd highest scorer this season. He is a big miss on any given day. Also, Jason Smith remains a big doubt and will be assessed ahead of the match.
Suspended – None.

BKN vs MIL Dream11 Fantasy Team:
INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
The loss against San Antonio Spurs was a hard pill to swallow for Nets. The match was there for the taking and Brooklyn just crumbled when it mattered the most. These are the games which can propel a team towards a positive streak, infusing a self-belief within the squad that they are good enough to fight against the big teams.
Milwaukee Bucks will test Nets’ stuttering resolution like no other team. The Greens are taking the whole NBA by a fierce storm and you wonder what they can achieve this season.
A win for Bucks is our call.
