BOU vs CAR Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Cardiff City will be looking to move closer to safety when they host Bournemouth in a crunch Premier League match at Cardiff City Stadium, in Cardiff, Wales, on Saturday night (IST).
No matter what’s the result of this match, the pre-match programmes, the full 90-minutes and the post-game assignments all will be about one man who never played for Cardiff City. But now he is one of their own, he is a Bluebirds now and forever.
Emiliano Sala could never make it to the club after the passenger plane carrying him disappeared somewhere over the Channel Islands. But life has to go on, and football is very much part and parcel of it. Cardiff City must move on as they have a real fight at hand to save their season.
The Bluebirds are 18th with 19 points from 24 games. The distance to safety stands at four points at this stage. So they will definitely be in the bottom 3 after the completion of this round of matches. But the gap could be if they manage to beat Bournemouth in this game.
The visitors produced one of the performances of the season so far when they ripped Chelsea apart in a 4-0 win at Dean Court. It was one of those games where nothing went well for the Blues and everything Bournemouth touched, turned gold.
The Cherries are almost safe as they are nearing the magical 40-point mark. In fact, after accumulating 33 points from the 23 games, a top half finish isn’t beyind their grasp.
