Kemar Roach ruffled the feathers of the English batsmen claiming 5 for 17 from 11 overs while Alzzari Joseph and Jason Holder claimed 2 wickets each which meant windies were leading by 212 runs in the first innings.

Windies in their second innings were reduced to 120 for 6 and then came a record partnership between skipper Jason Holder and wicket-keeper Shane Dowrich stitched 295 runs stand for the 7th wicket. In the process, Jason Holder scored his maiden double century and remained unbeaten on 202 while Dowrich remained unbeaten on 116.

A target of 626 was an uphill and almost impossible task and England could not bear the pressure as they were dismissed for 246 courtesy Roston Chase’s 8 for 60 which handed Windies their one of the biggest win in terms of runs.
