LAL vs PHI Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Los Angeles Lakers will look to build on their most recent win when they host Philadelphia 76ers in an NBA match at Staples Center, in Los Angeles, on Wednesday morning (IST).
Despite Showtime going down the hill and struggling for form outside LeBron James’ realm, there have been few positives to take from the dark period. Kyle Kuzma definitely stands out as the player who rose to the occasion, taking his game to new heights. While the likes of Brandon Ingram managed to come good as well.
However, in the last few games, Ivica Zubac has given the team a whole new dimension.
The 21-year-old dropped a team-high 24 points and grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds, and that tells a lot about his good form. In his last five games, he has scored points at 19 points per game, on 66.1 percent shooting from the field. He is becoming a two-dimensional player now, defending inside the paint and scoring points in bulks.
This was Lakers’ first win in four games and fifth in the last 10 heading into their next game against Sixers. Though Luke Walton’s team is still sitting outside the playoff positions in the Western Conference.
Philadelphia 76ers, on the other hand, succumbed to the immense talent of Nikola Jokic. The 23-year-old reminded everybody why he is being hailed as one of the best young talents in NBA as on his return from injury, he grabbed a triple-double, scoring a team-high 32 points, and also added 10 assists and 18 rebounds in the match.
While 76ers were without Joel Embiid who was given a day off and the decision certainly backfired.
Regular Season Record-
Los Angeles Lakers: W-26, L-24
Philadelphia 76ers: W-32, L-18
Players to watch out for:
Los Angeles Lakers:
Kyle Kuzma – He has made a name for himself this seaosn, especially in the absence of LeBron James. Lakers may have gone down the hill since Christmas day, Kyle Kuzma has taken his game to new levels. His season average is 19.1 points per game. But in the last 10 games, he has scored at 22.2 points per game.
Brandon Ingram – The 21-year-old was one of the three players for Lakers who scored in the 20s in the last match, helping the Showtime to return to the winning ways. The small forward has scored in the 20s in three of his last four matches.
Philadelphia 76ers:
Joel Embiid – His absence is enough to send the ripple effect in opponents’ heart. The 24-year-old was rested in the last match and Philadelphia 76ers ended up losing the match. He is expected to return here and that’s a bad piece of news for Lakers as he has the potential to win the games single-handedly.
For the season, the 2017 1st round pick is racking up points at 27.2 per game and is also a leading player in rebounds chart.
JJ Redick – There is Embiid and there are other players in Sixers’ ranks who are playing almost at the same level, more than good. JJ Redick is 3rd on the scoring charts for Philadelphia this season, averaging 18.5 points per game.

LAL vs PHI Dream11 Fantasy Team:
INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
Los Angels Lakers could be without their two leading goalscorers in this match, LeBron James and Kyle Kuzma. If that’s the case, then the Showtime are in for some trouble as Sixers are expected to include Joel Embiid to their starting line-up.
Nevertheless, we are backing Sixers to win this match, provided James doesn’t play.
