Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed landed himself in another controversy by making racist comments during the second ODI between Pakistan and South Africa. The Pakistan skipper made racist comments on AL Phehlukwayo and he is being slammed on social media for these comments.
Sarfraz calls Pehuhlukwayo ‘black’
The incident occurred during South Africa’s innings in the second ODI. The Proteas batsman AL Pehuhlukwayo scored a single in the fine leg region and rotated the strike. When the fielder threw the ball back to Sarfraz, the Pakistan skipper made a statement which was directed towards the batsman.
The Pakistani wicket-keeper used the word ‘black’ to refer to the Proteas batsman and also made comments about his mother.
Although Sarfraz made this statement in Hindi, the stump mic caught it and it was heard clearly on the television.
