GSW vs MIN DREAM11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Golden State Warriors will be aiming to extend their winning streak when they host Minnesota Timberwolves in an NBA match at Oracle Arena, in Oakland, on Tuesday morning (IST).
Golden State Warriors:
Golden State Warriors beat Milwaukee Bucks 95-105 on the road to stretch their winning streak to three games coming into this match.
This was a tussle between two of the giants of NBA, based on the form and the profile. Bucks are one of the top dogs in the Eastern Conference, 2nd in the table with a 16-8 record, while Warriors, well they are Warriors, the reigning NBA champions, and perhaps the best ever team to grace this beautiful game.
The Dubs, without Draymond Green and DeMarcus Cousin yet again, reminded everybody who is the boss in NBA, by beating Bucks in their own yard to move to the top of Western Conference.
Kevin Durant had one of those games where he didn’t need to stretch himself, ending with 11 points, 6 assists and 8 rebounds. While the Splash Brothers, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson ended with identical points, 20 each in the match.
This was Steve Kerr’s team’s 18th win of the season, sixth in the last 10, and seventh overall on the road.
Minnesota Timberwolves:
Minnesota Timberwolves scrapped their way to the NBA playoffs last season. Well, that was a different time as superstar Jimmy Butler used to play for the franchise, with all his heart. And as things stand, the Wolves are struggling to break into the top-8, sitting at 10th in the West with a 13-13 record so far.
Butler did move to Philadelphia 76ers in the midseason trade, leaving the team short on firepower. Karl-Anthony Towns has been tipped to take the mantle at some stage, but given his age, he may take some time to unlock his full potential. Derrick Rose is another big name in the team’s roster, but the 2011 NBA MVP needs support to influence the game.
Wolves lost the last match 113-105 against Portland Trail Blazers, which was their fourth negative result in the last 10 matches, and only the 2nd in the last eight. So there is some momentum behind the team, and things can still take a turn for the better.
Regular Season Record-
Golden State Warriors: W-18, L-9
Minnesota Timberwolves: W-13, L-13
Players to watch out for:
Golden State Warriors:
Kevin Durant – He has nothing to prove now, and is writing his own legacy. The last two NBA finals will always be remembered for his unparalleled contribution. The former Oklahoma City Thunder star is 29.1 for the regular season average and is slowly picking up his equally impressive partner Stephen Curry. The 30-year-old star has taken his game to new heights in the last 10 games or so, bringing home more than 32 points per game.
Stephen Curry – Mr Three-pointer is his usual best this season, leading the charge for his team, racking up almost 30 points per game. The two-time NBA MVP can change the face of the game on his own and should be in your NBA fantasy team.
Minnesota Timberwolves:
Karl-Anthony Towns – After the mid-seaosn trade of Jimmy Butler to Philadelphia 76ers, it’s Karl-Anthony Towns who is the king of Basketball in Minnesota.
The 23-year-old star is living is dropping 21.2 points per game, making him the highest scorer for his team this season.
Derrick Rose – The 2011 NBA MVP has started only six games this season while featuring 18 times from the bench. But the 30-year-old is still racking up good numbers, 18.3 points per game to be precise.
GSW vs MIN DREAM11 TEAM NEWS:
Golden State Warriors:

Warriors’ season finding perhaps, Damian Jones suffered a muscle injury against Detroit Pistons and the news from Oakland is that the 23-year-old has been ruled out for the rest of the regular season.
Questionable – And there is a good news as well. One of the best defensive players, Draymond Green, has been put into the day-to-day examination and will be assessed ahead of the match.
