Bangladesh’s opening dilemma
The injury to Tamim Iqbal has already created plenty of problems for the Bangladesh team management and now the absence of Kayes will hurt the team more.
The fact that Soumya Sarkar, who opened the innings for the team in the first Test is also struggling to score runs makes things even more difficult for the team.
Meanwhile, the team has made no additions to the squad which means that Sarkar could be opening the innings with Shadman Islam who is yet to play a Test match.
