Pune City FC and NorthEast United will be locking horns in the Indian Super League match at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, in Pune, tomorrow on Tuesday evening (IST).

Pune City FC:
Pune City FC will be most confident as they have been all season coming into this match after winning for the first time in the 2018-19 ISL season last time around.

They went into the international break sitting at the bottom of the table and with just two points from the first seven games. Not the return owners may have envisaged when they sacked manager Miguel Angel Portugal just three matches into the new campaign. NorthEast United:
NorthEast United, on the other hand, flying high this season, and are 4th in the table with 14 points. Also, only two points separate them and FC Goa at the very top of ISL standings. It certainly looks something close to an anomaly considering where they finished the last season. They won three games last season and lost a whopping 13 games to finish the 2017-18 campaign on just 11 points.

While this season the story is almost out of some Hollywood scripts. They have won four times, losing just once, and have already bettered the points tally of last season in less than half of the games. Extraordinary!

The last match could easily be termed as the match of the season so far. Kerala Blasters took the lead through Matej Poplatnik’s strike in the 73rd-minute. But Northeast didn’t give up and scored two goals in the injury time of the 2nd half to script a magnificent comeback.

In the attack, Ogbeche is an automatic choice, while Iain Hume will be playing alongside him.

Not many changes at the back with only Reagan Singh coming in to replace Lalthlamuana.
