GSW vs OKC DREAM11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Golden State Warriors will be aiming to snap their three-game losing streak against Oklahoma City Thunder in a home NBA match at Oracle Arena, in Oakland, California, on Thursday morning (IST).
Golden State Warriors:
For the most part of the last four years, Golden State Warriors have almost walked towards the championship. No team has come close to stopping them in those three NBA triumphs. For all the money and the talent at the disposal of so many teams in NBA, it still looks quite surreal to think that how could one team be so much dominant in this era? Or are we seeing perhaps, one of the greatest NBA teams of all-time, just like Bill Russell’s Boston Celtics or maybe Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls?
Yes, it could be the case because all the big teams and the dominating eras have teams which were always blessed not only with outstanding talents but with players who could be hailed as once in a generation kind of players. You wouldn’t argue against Stephen Curry. Not when it comes to shooting or his intentions to track back, and not to highlight his contribution to the general play. He is the best amongst the current players in every regard. Then there is Kevin Durant, a player so desperate to be counted amongst the best that he showed his back to his own city in some uncanny circumstances. And how could we forget Klay Thompson, who waits for moments when his team needs him the most; take for example the sixth game of Warriors’ last two championships; and Draymond Green, the custodian, and a character every NBA team dreads of.
So in a nutshell, it’s a team blessed with once-in-a-generation kind of players at every position and that’s why Warriors have never endured such a tough period that they are going through at this very moment. No wonder, it forced head coach Steve Kerr to accept that perhaps he and his team has never faced the real NBA. They always found it so easy that it now feels as if Warriors were in their dream spell.
We can’t be sure. It could be Kerr’s attempt to take the attention away from Durant and Green saga which could be the main reason why the Dubs are falling to pieces, and thus opting for some utopian looking settings.
Oklahoma City Thunder:
Oklahoma City Thunder lost their last game 117-113 against Sacramento Kings which also saw Russell Westbrook making a comeback from an injury. But the Thunder looked rusty at the beginning and were outplayed by Kings so much so that the visitors were found themselves trailing by a huge 13 points after the end of the 1st quarter.
However, the 2017 NBA MVP did make an impression as he helped his team to a one-point lead after the end of the 3rd quarter. The match continued to toss and turn towards both sides, and Kings eventually extended their lead to five points at the end of the 4th quarter and never fell behind after that.
Paul George nailed a three-pointer late in the game to cut the deficit to 115-113 with just 6.6 seconds remaining in the match. But Kings converted two free throws to win the match.
The loss was Thunder’s just 2nd in the last 12 games and they are fifth in the Western Conference with 10-6 record, just one win away from leaders Portland Trail Blazers.
Regular Season Record-
Golden State Warriors: W-12, L-6
Oklahoma City Thunder: W-10, L-6
Players to watch out for:
Golden State Warriors:
Kevin Durant – Golden State Warriors may be losing but Kevin Durant is still scoring in bulks in every game. The former Oklahoma City Thunder star is racking up 27.2 points per game this season. A candidate to lead your NBA fantasy team.
Klay Thompson – The 28-year-old has improved his season average to 21.4 after scoring heavily in the last few matches. He is a man for all occasion and should be in your NBA fantasy team.
Oklahoma City Thunder:
Russell Westbrook – He has missed 8 games for Oklahoma City Thunder this season, but still leads the scoring charts for his team. Westbrook is averaging 24.8 points this season, while it’s his contribution in other departments which makes him an indispensable player for both Oklahoma and NBA fantasy players. The 30-year-old is also accumulating 8.6 assists and 8.9 rebounds per game this season.
Paul George – The former Indiana Pacers star has three scores in the 30s in the last four games, a big reason why Oklahoma successfully managed to negotiate the absence of Westbrook. He is a safe bet and will give you goor return if in your team.
GSW vs OKC DREAM11 TEAM NEWS:

GSW vs OKC DREAM11 Fantasy Team:
INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
This is the first time in the last four games that Warriors will be playing in front of their own fans. It feels kind of luxury now after what happened in the last three games to Steve Kerr and his men.
Also, this is the 2nd match between these two sides this season with the Dubs winning that game 108-100. However, this is a completely different time as Oklahoma City Thunder are now playing like a team capable of mounting some serious challenge in the West.
But it’s Oracle Arena, where Warriors have an 8-1 record this season and we are backing them to win this game.
