Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will host Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Thursday at 7:30 PM IST.
The skipper Pat Cummins will lead the bowling attack for the SRH, while Mohammed Siraj will have to do better for the RCB with the ball. Meanwhile, in this post, we will try to predict the top three bowlers who will pick the most wickets in today’s SRH vs RCB IPL match.
1 – Pat Cummins
Performance in the IPL 2024 | Record against RCB | Record at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium |
9 wickets in 7 matches at a strike rate of 18.60 | 7 wickets in 7 matches at a strike rate of 21.43 | 3 wickets in 3 matches at a strike rate of 24.00 |
The skipper Pat Cummins usually brings himself to the bowling attack whenever his team needs a breakthrough. He has done a decent job so far this season with 9 wickets in 7 matches. He is bowling in the middle phase of the innings and once again, will play a pivotal role against a strong batting unit of the RCB.
2 – T Natarajan
Performance in the IPL 2024 | Record against RCB | Record at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium |
10 wickets in 5 matches at a strike rate of 12.00 | 10 wickets in 9 matches at a strike rate of 17.40 | 8 wickets in 8 matches at a strike rate of 22.50 |
The left-arm pacer is slowly getting back to his best after picking up a four-fer in the last match. He has already picked up 10 wickets in 5 games this season and will be eager to add more to his tally against RCB. T Natarajan has a decent record against the RCB with 10 wickets in 9 games and if he could repeat the performance from the last game, he might emerge as the bowler of the match.
3 – Yash Dayal
Performance in the IPL 2024 | Record against SRH | Record at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium |
7 wickets in 7 matches at a strike rate of 23.10 | 2 wickets in 3 matches at a strike rate of 36.00 | N/A |
Despite his high economy rate, Yash Dayal has been the RCB’s best bowler this season with 7 wickets in 7 matches. The left-arm pacer has a knack for providing the breakthroughs but his economy rate has been a problem. Yash Dayal will try to be economical in this must-win game for the RCB while picking up the wickets as well.
