Karl-Anthony Towns made amends for his slow start this season after producing a vibrant display against Lakers. He ended up scoring 25 points, 16 rebounds, and six assists in the match. While his wantaway star teammate Jimmy Butler cut loose in the match, scoring a game-high 32 points. The 29-year-old Small Forward also produced a near buzzer beater shot as his attempted three-pointer, with 19.7 seconds remaining, drowned into the hoop and brought home a much-needed victory.

The win lifted the Wolves above Lakers and onto the 10th position in the Western Conference. Next up for them are Utah Jazz who have started the season unexpectedly well.

Utah Jazz extended their winning run to three games with a 104-113 win on the road against Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center. With this win, the Jazz moved to sixth in the Western Conference and just one game behind the 2nd placed Denver Nuggets.

Quite a game it was against the Mavericks. After all, it’s not ordinary that your bench produces a whopping 43 points in the match. But for Jazz, the 2nd unit made all the difference, led by Georges Niang who was scoring three-pointers and scuffed the opponents for most of the 13 minutes he spent on the court.

Rudy Gobert had a team-high 23 points in the match along with 16 rebounds. It was his sixth straight double-doubles in six games this season.

Utah Jazz:

Donovan Mitchell – He is averaging 22.8 points per game for Jazz this season. He was once again amongst the highest scorers for his team as Utah won 113-104 against Mavericks. With Butler being too inconsistent, he could be your trump card in this match.

Rudy Gobert – The 26-year-old French is really performing on all fronts for Utah Jazz. His points contribution of 13.5 per game is 2nd highest for his team while his 13.5 rebounds per game rank first for Jazz this season.
