The two-time finalist franchise Gujarat Titans now needs to strategise their plans in the field considering the former captain Hardik Pandya is not a part of their team anymore. Shubman Gill the new captain has now a passionate role to handle with a prudent coaching staff in the dressing room. However, they have lost India’s most prolific pacer-allrounder whom they can’t replace by any Indian now.

Although Gujarat had a gaping hole in their squad, the team’s playing XI was still an extremely strong one. The reigning franchise had a huge purse of 38.15 crores remaining with a maximum of 8 players to add. They have added 2 overseas players to their squad. While four overseas (i.e. Kane Williamson, David Miller, Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad/ Joshua Little) almost cemented their places in the playing XI, they have added some good options like Azmatullah Omarzai, Shahrukh Khan, and Spencer Johnson. Now they have a stronger squad to run into the upcoming season.
