The Lucknow Super Giants are being hosted by Sunrisers Hyderabad in match no 58 of Tata IPL 2023 at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad. SRH won the toss and opted to bat first. LSG have made quite a few changes to their eleven as they are seeking a turnaround after back-to-back losses. However, LSG still hasn’t included Naveen-ul-Haq who has now missed three games on the trot.

The Super Giants haven’t included the Afghan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq for the third match on the trot. Naveen has made way for Quinton de Kock as LSG’s batting has been a big concern in recent times, especially after the injury of KL Rahul. Therefore, the decision to go with Quinton de Kock instead of Naveen was expected. Check what Lucknow’s skipper Krunal Pandya said at the toss,

“We would have batted first as well, but I don’t mind (bowling) either. It has been an up and down season for us. You have to play good cricket, that’s what matters. The wicket looks good and it will play the same. We have a couple of  changes, Prerak and Yudhvir are in for Hooda and Mohsin.“
