For the second match in a row, Punjab Kings have decided to sideline Vidarbha’s young left-hand batter Atharva Taide. He wasn’t a part of the eleven in the last game against MI and once again PBKS team management has decided to leave him out. Matthew Short batted at no 3 in the last game against MI when Atharva wasn’t there and today it is Sri Lankan left-hander Bhanuka Rajapaksa who will be batting at no 3. Taide is among the substitutes but is highly unlikely that he would get into the KKR vs PBKS match as PBKS are already batting first. Here’s what Shikhar Dhawan said at the toss,

“We gonna bat first. The wicket looks quite dry, we would like to put a good total and defend it. That’s a good thing that we are scoring 200 every game. One change, Bhanuka comes in place of Short. Seems like it will stop a bit and come.”
