DC will desperately be hoping to return back to winning ways.

DC vs KKR: Why is Prithvi Shaw Not Playing Today IPL Match?

During the toss, it was revealed that Prithvi Shaw is once again not part of the starting DC Playing XI for today’s DC vs KKR IPL 2023 match. However, the opening batsman is part of the five substitute members out of which one can be used as an Impact Player at any moment in the game. But, Prithvi has been in a horrible form with the bat so far in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023 season as he has scored only 15 runs from 5 innings. In the last match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, while coming in as an Impact Player, Prithvi was dismissed for a 2-ball duck.

“We will have a bowl first. Weather being around, you don’t know what the total is going to be. We haven’t been disciplined with the ball. We have two changes,” said Delhi Capitals captain David Warner during the toss.
