The injury
Australian opener Usman Khwaja might not be able to play against India in the home series. He injured his left knee during warm up before the third day, in the second Test against Pakistan. Because of his absence, Australia played Shaun Marsha after Pakistan put up a massive total of 538 with 6 sessions remaining.
After scans, it was revealed that it wasn’t just a knee twist but a cartilage tear. This could potentially put Khwaja out of action for up to two months.
